As I watched this I couldn’t help but think just how fortunate most homeschooled children really are.

Aside from those children who homeschool through the public school system, most homeschooled children are lucky enough to have parents who have come to realize that children aren’t carbon copies of each other. Each child is unique with their own set of talents and abilities.

Children subjected to a cookie cutter curriculum are – as the video points out, at a distinct disadvantage. They often struggle so hard to catch up in the areas they find difficult that they are never able to achieve their personal best and excel in those subjects where they have personal talent and aptitute.

Effective parents are always learning, studying, and customizing the instruction for the individual child.
